1. A simplified ideal single-phase thyristor rectifier circuit is shown in Fig. 1.

Assume that the supply voltage v, is sinusoidal (RMS value 230V at 50 Hz) and a=30". Suppose the

e) What should be the switching freguency that the peak-to-peak ripple in the inductor current
