Event official
Event officials assist the event responsible in organizing events. In addition, there is an opportunity to brainstorm and implement completely new events, and to develop old events into new types. Previous experience is not so much required, but good ideas and readiness to participate in the organizing of events is important trait. (Requires fluent Finnish proficiency)
TEK contact person
The TEK-official is responsible for our guild's TEK cooperation. If you are a passionate distributor of the joy message of TEK, this position is right for you. (Requires fluent Finnish proficiency). Please note that this role is in addition to a official role and that a separate person will not be selected for this role.
Graphic designer
The graphic designer contributes the visual look of our guild. This position involves making events posters and IG posts, for example. The graphic artist will be able to cooperate with, for example, the editor of Sähkösanomat.
Food and refreshment official
Food and refreshment officials assist food and refreshment masters. So, for example, there are visits to the store, filling the food cabinet and fridges in the guild room, and the return of bottles! In events you also get to take care of the food and drink side. On top of all that, it's an easy stepping stone to the guild's activities.
Photographer
From the photographer, one hopes for enthusiasm to visit guild’s events and photography skills. If you have a visual eye for images and want to record for future generations the jubilations of our events, apply to this position! Please note that this role is in addition to a official role and that a separate person will not be selected for this role.
IT-guru
The IT guru maintains the servers, websites, infoboard etc. of the guild. Computer competence is at least strongly recommended. Programming competence (language-independent) is also a valuable asset. Keywords include Django, Python, Docker, HTML, CSS and JS. Experience with Linux and server administration is a plus. Technically you don’t need to be very experienced with every technology but pre-existing knowledge makes things easier. (Basic Finnish proficiency is required)
Corporate relations official
The corporate official works in cooperation with the corporate equivalent and assists in the acquisition and maintenance of corporate relationships. In this position you also get involved in organising various events such as sauna nights and excursions. (Requires fluent Finnish proficiency)
IT-junior
IT-junior acts as the IT guru's right-hand man and handles the same things as the IT guru. This is where you can develop your own IT skills! (Basic Finnish proficiency is required)

Sport and wellbeing executive
The activities of the sport and wellbeing official include organizing the Guild's sport events and inspiring the members to move around! This position is a great way to get acquainted with guild activities in low-profile position and get to carry out events that improve well-being, including traditional sport events for the whole school as well as those that are organized entirely by your own mind. You can also choose to organize events in collaboration with other sport officials. In this position you can also bring new activities for the members of the guild. (Requires basic Finnish proficiency)

Alumni official
There’s also life after studies! If you are interested in the graduates from Skilta community, this is for you! Your job is to be responsible for and promote the guild's activities with Sähkökiltas Alumni Association and participate their meetings (~5-10 yearly). The key word is networking. Goal is to organize for example sitsies and/or sauna between Skilta and Alumnies, with help of both organizations’ event executions.

Guild room official
The guild room official manages guild room affairs and is in the process of promoting its functionality. Assignments include subscribing to magazines, planning reforms to the guild room, and maintaining functions. You are also responsible for guild’s equipment and for its renting. This position is well suited for someone who spends time in the guild room and knows the opinion of the guild’s members (or is ready to ask about it) about the development sites of the guild room. (Requires fluent Finnish proficiency)
Project official
As the Project official, you get to organize several major project-based events for both Skillan members and the entire university community. In the spring semester, your responsibility includes organizing the Academic Sauna SC-competition during Wappu in collaboration with a committee. In the fall semester, you have the opportunity to develop a new event concept, the 'Project X(q),' with the framework already set. In addition to these events, you are free to use your creativity to come up with and organize new event concepts for Skilta if you wish.
Communications official
Do you want to be involved in communicating Skilta’s activities and events to the members and the outside world? In the role of communications officer, you are part of Skilta’s communications sector, and you get to work closely with the communications manager and other actors. Pesti includes various activities such as sending newsletters, promoting events, and helping other sectors. Visual skills and experience in producing text are a plus, but the most important thing is interest and enthusiasm! The communications officer is an important link between Skilta and its members, as well as in informing outsiders of the guild.
Fluency in Finnish and English is appreciated
Social media officer
If developing the guild’s Instagram and TikTok accounts and events feed interest you, this position is made for you! You act as a part of communications and event sector, in which you will follow closely organizing events, but also help communications executive for example by handling Instagram account with him. Interest to creative content creation on TikTok is appreciated! Various projects and campaigns are also welcome. Special graphic skills are not required, but a visual eye is considered an advantage! As you will handle the external communications, fluent Finnish proficiency is required.
International Fuksi-officer
The International Fuksi-officer oversees and is responsible for the activities of international students, including orientation week, events, cultural education, and serves as part of the Fuksi-council consisting of Fuksi-officials from different guilds. Their goal is to bring international freshmen closer to the guild. Among their tasks are listening to the concerns of international students, bringing Finnish and international students together, and organizing the activities of the guild's international tutors. A good International Fuksi-Official is approachable, outgoing, and an active global citizen.
History official
Behind are some well-lived years, but the 60th anniversary of the guild is already on the horizon. It's time to start the making of our history book. In this role, the main idea is to kickstart the project and assemble a team of contributors for the history book. In this position, it doesn't matter whether you're in your first or last year of studies!
Keskiaste officer
Keskiaste.officer plans Keskiaste välitutkinto event along with the event team and the board. He starts planning the event early in the summer and is responsible for the event all the wany until the event day.
